Loved It!

My friend and I stayed 5 days and loved it. We stayed on the first floor, had a shaded patio, and the beach was a dozen steps down from our room. The room was clean and the kitchen was great! Pool was OK, nothing special. If you want a resort this isn't it, but if you want a place on the beach every morning this is it. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a kitchen, a must for beach life. No businesses within walking distance, but a mall and everything else needed is within 2 miles. It's a great area for shopping. The beach is white and cleaner than any I have seen, the water is very pristine. Activities are on the beach in front of the motel and you can rent chairs/umbrellas. For sitting on the beach and having your room right there, this is perfect!! There is no cleaning service, and towels are exchanged at the office, but that wasn't an issue for us. Would love to go back this fall with my spouse.

Amazing

This motel looks much nicer in person than it does on the website. We were able to check in early with no extra charge and the rooms looked like they were recently upgraded. I stayed on the second floor and the view from the balcony was amazing. There was a private access beach right behind the property, which was much less crowded. Not too far from the heart of Destin. I loved it here and would stay again!!

Highly Recommended

We like places that are right on the water and not across the street. This fit the bill, and we got an upstairs unit overlooking the beach. The unit had been remodeled with a bedroom, kitchen area and bath. Drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning was great. The room was very clean and the price was very good. The restaurants are just down the street. We took the car but people younger than we are may walk.

Paradise on the Water

If you want to stay at a nice place, right on the beach, this is it. Every room has either a private patio, or a balcony. You can park right in front of your room, and the other side opens to the Gulf of Mexico. It has a beautiful view, and a white powder beach that never gets hot to the touch. You get to see spectacular sunsets right from the privacy of your own patio, and if you want nightlife, it's right down the street. There are too many reasons to list. This was our first visit to the panhandle, but we will be back.
